Homero G. Rivero, MD, attended the Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas Villa Clara in Santa Clara in Cuba, and received his medical degree in 1983. Upin relocating to the United States, he conducted his residency in internal medicine at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. In addition, Dr. Rivero received board certification in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He remains in good standing with the American Medical Association. Dr. Rivero is the recipient of the On-Time Doctor Award (2015, 2018), the Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2015, 2018), and the Patients’ Choice Award (2018) from vitals.com.  He dedicates his spare time to traveling.
